Anita is a Registered Physiotherapist (Pelvic Health and Orthopaedic) with a focus on women’s health, specifically prenatal and postpartum care as well as a Certified Pilates Instructor and Certified in Acupuncture / Dry Needling. She graduated from McMaster University with an Honours Bachelor of Kinesiology and a Masters of Science in Physiotherapy in 2009. Having gone through pregnancy, childbirth and postpartum recovery, Anita understands the many conflicting opinions on ‘what’s too much or too little exercise’ or even what type of exercise is safe and effective. Her physiotherapy practice is focused on guiding you to prevent, manage, reduce or resolve physical symptoms that are common during pregnancy or postpartum while staying active and doing exercise YOU enjoy. This will ultimately help you become stronger and more confident in your body more than ever!
Anita grew up with a love of dance, sports and learning about human movement. Outside of work, you can find her practicing yoga or Pilates, at the gym or enjoying the outdoors with her family.
