Assessments are virtual (video) & follow up appointments can be virtual AND in-person. Pelvic floor exams and manual therapy can be included at in-person follow up appointments.

All New & Returning Clients (clients who have not been seen in 6 months): book a New Physiotherapy Assessment which is virtual (70 min) and 4 x 45 min follow up appointments. First follow up is 1 week after your assessment then 3 each spaced 2 weeks apart. (Booking ahead is recommended due to high demand for appointments otherwise it may be 6-8 weeks between your appointments.) Pelvic floor exams and manual therapy can be included at in-person follow up appointments.

New Prenatal Clients: book an Initial Physiotherapy Assessment which is virtual (70 min) and 4 x 45 min follow up appointments. First follow up is 1 week after your assessment then 3 each spaced 2 weeks apart PLUS a 60 minute follow up at 34 weeks and 45 min follow up at 36 weeks. Pelvic floor exams and manual therapy can be included at in-person follow up appointments.

All new physiotherapy assessments are virtual.

In-person and online sessions can be covered under your Physiotherapy Extended Health Benefits however please check with your company about your coverage. Upon payment you’ll receive an emailed invoice to submit to your insurance.

Anita is a Registered Physiotherapist (Pelvic Health and Orthopaedic) with a focus on women’s health, specifically prenatal and postpartum care as well as a Certified Pilates Instructor and Certified in Acupuncture / Dry Needling. She graduated from McMaster University with an Honours Bachelor of Kinesiology and a Masters of Science in Physiotherapy in 2009. Anita is one of the select few physiotherapists in Canada to receive advanced training in labour support, which blends orthopaedic physiotherapy expertise with birth doula support.

Having gone through pregnancy, childbirth and postpartum recovery, Anita understands the many conflicting opinions on ‘what’s too much or too little exercise’ or even what type of exercise is safe and effective. Her physiotherapy practice is focused on guiding you to prevent, manage, reduce or resolve physical symptoms that are common during pregnancy or postpartum while staying active and doing exercise YOU enjoy. This will ultimately help you become stronger and more confident in your body more than ever!

Anita grew up with a love of dance, sports and learning about human movement. Outside of work, you can find her practicing yoga or Pilates, at the gym or enjoying the outdoors with her family.

Laine is a Registered Physiotherapist (Pelvic Health, Orthopaedic and Neurological) and has completed several post grad courses for orthopaedic care, pelvic health, pain management and STOTT Pilates matwork instructor’s course.

Laine’s dedication to fitness and holistic healthcare from a young age led to her passion for physiotherapy. She graduated with an Honours BSc from the University of Guelph; followed up with a Master’s (MScPT) in Physiotherapy from Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen, Scotland.

She has a passion for working with perinatal and postpartum clients and believes that resolving pelvic floor dysfunction has the ability to significantly improve someone’s life physically, functionally and emotionally.

Laine believes in a holistic, whole body approach and uses a variety of methods to balance tension with strength, improve overall function and return her clients to an active lifestyle.
